Welcome to your puppy application

Thank you for your interest in a Harrison Farm Teddy Bear puppy! We are excited to help you find your new best friend. Please fill out our application so we can learn more about you and your home.

Our ideal puppy parents

At Harrison Farm Teddy Bears, we are dedicated to finding the perfect homes for our beloved Shichon puppies. The most important quality we look for in a puppy owner is presence. Shichons are incredibly social and bond deeply with their human companions. We hope to find families or individuals who have plenty of time to spend with their new companion—whether that’s a work-from-home professional, a retired couple, or an active family where someone is often home. We want our puppies to thrive in environments where they receive consistent love, attention, and interaction.

About your household

To ensure our puppies go to loving and suitable homes, we ask potential owners a few key questions. Please tell us a little bit about your household: Who lives in the home (adults, children, other pets)? How many hours a day will the puppy be left alone? Do you have a fenced-in yard, or what is your plan for exercise and potty breaks? Are you aware of the grooming requirements for a Shichon, and are you prepared for the cost of professional grooming every 6–8 weeks? If your life circumstances change (moving, new job, etc.), what is your plan for the puppy? Have you ever raised a puppy before, and are you prepared for the 'puppy stage' (teething, potty training, etc.)? Your honest answers help us match you with the perfect furry family member.

What happens next?

After you fill out your application, here’s what you can expect: We personally review every application within 24–48 hours, looking for homes where our 'Bears' will thrive. If everything looks like a good fit, we’ll reach out to schedule a brief phone call or FaceTime to get to know you better. To officially reserve your puppy, we require a $500 non-refundable deposit. This deposit goes toward the final purchase price and ensures that your chosen puppy is held specifically for you.

While you wait for your puppy to be old enough to come home (8 weeks), we’ll send you weekly 'Pupdate' photos and videos! You’ll get to watch your puppy grow, see their personality develop, and start the bonding process from afar. At 6–7 weeks, our puppies have their final 'Go-Home' exam with our veterinarian. They receive their first round of shots and a clean bill of health. We will share these records with you so you can coordinate with your own vet. At 8 weeks, it’s time for 'Gotcha Day!' We’ll schedule a time for you to come to Clarksville, Tennessee to pick up your new best friend.

"The process was so transparent and supportive. We felt connected to our puppy even before 'Gotcha Day' with all the wonderful updates!"
